Pseudomonas aeruginosa Causes Cellulitis: A Case Report

Abstract

Cellulitis is a bacterial infection affects the inner layers of the skin. It mostly attacks the dermis and also subcutaneous fat. The mostly caused  signs and symptoms are redness its increases the  size  day by day and also seen  swell and pain in the legs .cellulitis mostly affect the legs and face of the patient and also affect any part of the body. The cellulitis is commonly caused by bacterial infections that is mainly by staphylococci, or streptococci or streptococcus bacteria. The main cause of cellulitis in this case is Pseudomonas aeruginosa or gram-ve bacteria. The occurrence of cellulitis increases with age and most commonly seen in male. This bacteria passes in to the body through cut out of the skin and enter into the body and undergoes pathogenesis and alterations of inflammatory responses takes place. This is the case of 74 years old male patient with chief complaints of swelling of left leg since 1month and also wound on left leg with occurrence of blisters over the leg and then admitted in the hospital.
