Mass customization is a new approach to manufacturing and providing services that is revolutionizing business and mainly in textile and apparel field. How can we model the mass customization level? In this study we will present a review of the mass customization concept in textile and apparel field, and some key success factors such as modular product design. It presents also a framework, aiming to develop the mass customization for textile and apparel industries, by reviewing and modeling the mass customization strategy by assessing the mass production level and the co-design experience level and by presenting some scales to classify the mass customization level.
