Comparative Study of Modernization of Public Management and Maintenance Program of Higher Education Institutes in a Region of Peru

The objective of research was to determine the relationship between public management modernization and the maintenance program of higher education institutes in the La Libertad region, 2022. A basic research, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, causal comparative level, with a sample of 71 directors for public Higher Education institutes and 65 directors for private institutes. Results showed there is a significant (p<0,05) and positive (rho=0.757**) relationship between modernization of public management and maintenance program of Instiutes. In conclusion, difference between two case studies is evident, since private case one has a better opportunity and comfort throughout process.
