Abstract

Background: Complicated crown fractures of the maxillary anterior teeth present significant biological, functional, and aesthetic challenges. Preserving natural tooth structure through autogenous fragment reattachment combined with modern adhesive reinforcement represents a conservative alternative to conventional full-coverage crowns. Case Description: A patient presented with a complicated coronal fracture of the maxillary central incisor involving the pulp. Immediate root canal treatment was performed. At 24 hours, coronal gutta-percha was conservatively removed, an intraradicular fibre-reinforced composite post (everX Stick) was placed to optimise stress distribution, and the hydrated fractured palatal fragment was adhesively reattached. Following an uneventful three-month clinical and radiographic follow-up confirming periodontal and periapical stability, a minimally invasive bonded lithium disilicate veneer was fabricated and cemented to achieve definitive functional protection and optical integration. Conclusion: Combining intraradicular fibre reinforcement, autogenous fragment reattachment, and delayed ceramic veneer rehabilitation provides an ultra-conservative, mechanically stable, and aesthetically superior approach for traumatized anterior teeth.
