A Note on Semi-Compatible Maps and Occasionally Weakly Compatible Maps in Non-archimedean Menger PM-Space

Arihant Jain, Abhishek Sharma & Basant Chaudhary · Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science · 2015

The concept of semi-compatible and occasionally weakly compatible mappings is used to prove a common fixed point theorem. The theorem thus obtained is a generalization of the result of Cho et al. [10] in a non-Archimedean Menger PM-space.

A Global Indicator for Measuring the Efficiency of Machine Learning Classifier Based on Multi-Criteria Approach

Hegazy Zaher & Mohamed Abdullah · Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science · 2015

The main challenge that faces any researcher in the field of machine learning is determining the quality of an indicator used for measuring the efficiency of classifier techniques. This issue based on Multiple-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) has not been tackled by any researcher...

Green Computing: A Case Study of Electricity Distribution in Jordan

Nada Al Sallami, Ali Al daoud & Sarmad Al Alossi · Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science · 2015

This paper used a modified Neural Network algorithm for green load balancing. The algorithm applied to electricity distribution problem of Jordan. Neural network learns to predict the demand of electricity in Jordan and allocates electricity according to that prediction. Back-pro...

Longest Waiting Time in the Coupon Collector’s Problem

C. Brennan, J. Kariv & A. Knopfmacher · Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science · 2015

The coupon collector’s problem is a classical problem usually solved by summing independent but not identically distributed geometric random variables. These geometric random variables represent waiting times for the j-th coupon for j = 1, 2,..... In this paper we address the que...

Discovering Geometric and Topological Properties of Ellipsoids by Curvatures

Lina Wu, Shihshu Walter Wei, Jia Liu & Ye Li · Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science · 2015

Aims/ Objectives: We are interested in discovering the geometric, topological and physical properties of ellipsoids by analyzing curvature properties on ellipsoids. We begin with studying ellipsoids as a starting point. Our aim is to find a way to study geometric, topological and...

On Projectively Related Kropina Metric

S. K. Narasimha Murthy, B. C. Chethana & G. N. Latha Kumari · Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science · 2015

In the present paper, we study curvature properties of projectively flat Kropina metric and prove that two Finsler metrics re projectively related if and only if they have thesame Douglas tensors. Further we showed that corresponding Riemannian metrics are projectively related.

Chaotic Graph on the Sphere

S. Nada & E. El-Shafey · Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science · 2015

Our aim in the present article is to introduce and study a new type of chaotic graphs, namely chaotic graph on a sphere .We describe them by using chaotic matrices. This article introduces some operations on the chaotic graphs such as union and intersection; also both of the chao...

Detecting Plagiarism in Arabic E-Learning Using Text Mining

Farahat F. Farahat, Aziza S. Asem, Mahmoud A. Zaher & Ahmed M. Fahiem · Journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science · 2015

Being a growing problem, plagiarism is generally defined as a “literary theft” and an “academic dishonesty” in the literature, and it is really has to be well-informed on this topic to prevent the problem and stick to the ethical principles. Due to the hug of digital libraries an...
