Necessary and Sufficient Conditions for L1 - convergence of Cosine Trigonometric Series

We obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for L1-convergence of a modified cosine sum and a theorem of Telyakovskii [1] concerning convergence behavior of cosine series with monotonic decreasing coefficients has been deduced as a corollary.
